A Family Oriented Sunclub

Situated amidst natural bushland with 10 acres of manicured grounds with a creek that allows peace and quiet right in the heart of the suburbs of Brisbane. The creek is abundant with turtles, fish, eels, ducks and other assorted bird life. Possums can be seen in the trees and will sometimes come down and eat out of your hand. Close to a Koala sanctuary we have witnessed Koalas amoungst the gums and Kangaroos bound across the grounds.

We are only minutes away from shopping centres, laundromat, hotels and anything you may need for your convenience, but when you visit our grounds in this delightful and peaceful bushland setting you will think they are a million miles away.

Open year round, members and guests enjoy lounging in the fresh country air of Aquarius Naturist Retreat, or taking a dip in the swimming pool.

Abundant wildlife can be seen if you choose a leisurely walk and the grounds provide many species of seasonal flowering shrubs. Whether you choose to work on your “all over tan” or lounge in the shade of an old tree with a good book, you will find Aquarius the epitome of relaxation. Those looking for more active pursuits will enjoy a lively game of pickleball, tennis or miniten.

When cold weather drives everyone indoors, activities center around the clubhouse with lively card games, dominoes, team trivia, table tennis, pool or socializing at the pot luck dinners. Special events and theme parties are planned through out the year.

Our Mission Statement

Our mission statement in part says: Aquarius Naturist Retreat supports and practices a policy where every member is valued, appreciated, and encouraged to grow in the true spirit of nudism, which is respect for self and others. By its presence, Aquarius speaks favourably for naturism and nudism by promoting quality education and information about a clothing free environment to the textile community. It’s very simple, Aquarius Naturist Retreat members are comfortable without clothing and they enjoy being with others who feel the same way. Come and discover for yourself the wonderful world of clothing-free recreation.

From young couples with children, to retirees and everyone in between, you will find good and decent people who treat everyone with equal respect.

In a clothing-free environment, all artificial barriers disappear and social status, rank, and position become unimportant. At Aquarius Naturist Retreat, not only will you enjoy recreation “naturally”, but you will have the opportunity to make friendships that will last a lifetime.
