Overview

Miniten is similar to tennis but played on a smaller court. The rules and scoring follow that of the traditional game.

Closely associated with the naturist movement it was devised in the 1930's as mini-tennis to be played at naturist clubs which often had insufficient land for full size tennis courts.

The bat or thug is rather like a wooden box around your hand. They can vary in size, shape and design but there are some basic rules to be followed when constructing one of your own. Standard size tennis balls are used.

Suitable

Pickleball

Want to learn more about the fastest-growing game across clubs in Australia. Pickleball is a paddle sport that combines elements of badminton, tennis, and table tennis. Two or four players use solid paddles made of wood or composite materials to hit a perforated polymer ball, similar to a Wiffle Ball, over a net. The sport shares features of other racket sports, the dimensions and layout of a badminton court, and a net and rules somewhat similar to tennis, with several modifications. Swimming Pool

Next to our outdoor BBQ area is our free form pool with a rock fountain and seating nooks. There is a no deep end, and a gentle slopped entry area that is well suited for relaxing conversations.
